INRatio

The Hemosense INRatio is a new, next generation whole blood PT INR monitoring system based on a novel electrochemical sensor detection technology. The INRatio is intended for use by professional testing staff and it is also suitable for patient self-testing. The INRatio weighs only 300g, is robust and fits in to the palm of the hand which makes it highly portable and ideal for out-of-laboratory testing. The device is operated via just three keys and utilises a large, easy-to-read screen.

The easy operation of this analyser makes it suitable for professional and patient home testing. Simply apply a drop of fresh capillary whole blood to the test strip and the results are delivered within 2 minutes. The INRatio is easy to learn and easy to use. The INRatio brings laboratory quality results to the point-of-care setting. Healthcare professionals and patients alike can be assured of consistent, reliable results as a consequence of the excellent control measures inherent in the INRatio device.

    * The system is self-maintaining and requires no user maintenance at all
    * The INRatio performs self-diagnosis to detect any testing problems
    * During every test, quality is assured with on board biological controls. This is achieved with two additional tests inclusive in every test strip which are performed in parallel to the patient PT INR. This eliminates the need for additional test strip usage or separate control materials. For more information go to: www.hemosense.com
